10 Tips to Having a Successful Fly Fishing Experience with You Wife or Girlfriend
teaching fly fishing to that special someone. But don’t ask my wife, because she won’t tell you that.1. Make them feel good when you are fishing together: Most women are run by their emotions. When they feel good they like the situation, when they don’t they will remember the feelings and won’t want to do it again. Go out of your way to make them feel good while their fishing with you and they will want to do it again with you.

2. Don’t over or under teach: There is a fine line that men walk when teaching a women how to fly fish. The benefit you have is that you should
already know what your wife or girlfriend likes and dislikes, so use that. In most cases don’t over teach unless they are asking you to…Questions are a good indication they want to learn.

4. Be equal: Even though your probably a lot better at fly fishing than your wife or girlfriend, don’t treat them that way.
.
5. Pay Attention to them to: Don’t get so focused on fishing that you close up and go into a world of your own. Women like to know that they are the most important part of a mans life, not second to fishing. (Even if that’s not always true)
.
6. Give them a job or something they can be in charge of. Lunch, Netting, Rowing, Camera. This will not only make them feel important, but also give them something to do if they don’t feel like fishing.
