2010 Fishing Goals
Every January I sit down and think of all the adventures and places I want to visit. I also think of other things I want to do and learn in a year. In all its a great way to push myself in to new places and dreams I never thought I would reach.
This I want to go back to my roots, I want to fish more with dries and an old bamboo rod. I want to spend time with the ones that introduced me to this great sport. I really want to in someway thank those that have given me so much, I cant find any better way then by fishing with them.

In 2010 my personal challenge is to catch at least 1 trout per month over 20 inches on a dry fly. I might feel comfortable doing this with streamers or nymphs, but to raise a 20+ inch trout to a dry fly takes stealth, perfect presentation, time, and a lot of dumb luck. I hope I will have some good stories to tell about each battle.

The remainder of my goals are places I want fish during this year
1. Wind Rivers, WY- I have wanted to visit these mtns for many years now but they continue to eluded me. I here there’s gold in them mtns
2. Finish my WY Cutt Slam-Yellowstone here I come
3. Float the Snake River through Teton National Park
4. Catch a Tiger Musky and Striper on a dry fly
5. Alaska?
5.1 Have a good time with family, fishing buddies and friends
On top of these goals my underlining wish for the 2010 year, is that in some way I can help make a difference and give back to what fly fishing has given to me. I feel I owe it to the sport
